About Pighack

PigHack is about rethinking how we communicate ethics and justification in animal research.

The way society understands and debates these issues matters just as much as the science itself.
At PigHack, participants will explore how to make difficult conversations — about animals, science, and food — clearer, more engaging, and more meaningful for everyone.

This is not about finding one “right” answer, but about creating tools, formats, and ideas that help people talk about sensitive questions in new ways.

Your project could become a prototype, guideline, matrix, or toolbox — the format is up to you.
